Blue Ocean Technologies has opened its new high bay and workshop at the company’s headquarters in Conroe, Texas, US.
The custom-built facility consists of more than 8,000ft² of workspace equipped with 25t and 50t gantry cranes with a hook height of 35ft. The high bay provides a much greater capacity for building new subsea systems, as well in-house maintenance and rebuild capabilities. In addition, Blue Ocean’s new facility will offer fabrication, welding and a full range of testing.
The combined accommodations will significantly reduce system turnaround between campaigns for customers in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
