Corrosion-resistant tubing specialists Fine Tubes and Superior Tube will exhibit their latest high-performance solutions for oil and gas applications at ONS 2016, in Stavanger, Norway, from 29 August to 1 September 2016.
ONS is a key biennial exhibition for the offshore oil and gas industry and provides a platform for the presentation of the market’s latest innovations with a focus on cleaner methods of energy production.
UK-based Fine Tubes and US-based Superior Tube manufacture a range of high performance stainless steels such as NORSOK-approved 6 Moly and Super Duplex, nickel alloy and titanium grades that offer high corrosion-resistance and an excellent operational life, decreasing downtime and maintenance costs.
Critical oil and gas applications include:
- Downhole, hydraulic and chemical injection control lines
- Control lines in subsea umbilicals
- Flowline control line tubing for pipe-in-pipe bundles

Having recently secured approval by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), and India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Fine Tubes and Superior Tube have previously supplied tubing for major offshore oil fields in the North Sea, including the BP Schiehallion field, Golden Eagle and Jasmin Conoco Philips as well as the Goliat Norwegian field.
