Smedegaarden is a global player in the delivery of good quality second-hand equipment for the maritime industry, and is capable in delivering winches, storage drums, cranes, gear drives, gearboxes, diesel engines, HPUs and much more. Ship breaking is also part of Smedegaarden as is environmentally correct recycling, which is performed in Esbjerg, Denmark.

Smedegaarden has a wide range of equipment which has mainly been dismantled from vessels and constructions, but has also come from general trading. Our 30,000m² yard contains:

Spare engine parts for maritime equipment
In addition, Smedegaarden has a wide range of engine spares in stock, which are delivered as measured, crack and pressure tested. DNV, BV and GL Class inspection and certification is available on request. We have the following main parts in stock:

Recycling and shipbreaking services
Recycling is a main focus of Smedegaarden’s services. With comprehensive knowledge of recycling gained from the last 50 years in business, Smedegaarden offers recycling of:
- Vessels up to 200m in length and maximum 7m in depth
- Offshore constructions, factories and plants (factories only in Denmark)
Smedegaarden and its recycling facilities are environmentally approved so any recycling work carried out will be in accordance with up-to-date EU regulations.
