PEM Offshore is a member of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and in turn offers marine surveys according to IMCA’s common marine inspection document (CMID) issue 8 and OVID Checklist.
Air diving, subsea engineering, and underwater inspection and welding
PEM Offshore, with the aid of its associate Blue Con Subsea, offers clients tailor-made services in diving, underwater inspection, CCTV, and underwater welding / construction. All operations carried out by PEM Offshore are in accordance with API, BS, SOLAS and HSE/IMCA regulation / standards, involving very experienced and tested personnel, both national and international. Our supervisors are all IMCA approved.
Rope access inspection services
PEM Offshore is a specialist in rope access, a safe, reliable and effective technique to reach inaccessible areas. Rope access is more versatile than gondolas or cranes, more efficient than scaffolding, and can eliminate unnecessary downtime.
All PEM rope access operations are executed by IRATA trained / certified personnel and adhere to guidelines and recommendations published by BSI to ensure safe implementation of the task while working at heights.
Our work teams consist mainly of experienced level II and III IRATA-qualified personnel appropriately assisted by some level I qualified personnel. Our inspectors are qualified in NDT with specialised experience in structural and equipment assessment.
Onshore / offshore labour supply
PEM Offshore can supply multi-skilled on / offshore labour to complement the services we offer or on a standalone basis. We specialise in fast turnaround (24 hours or less) and are able to source and mobilise labour, from a single person to a complete crew ready for work for either long or short-term contracts.
Vessel management services
PEM Offshore provides clients with a high-quality, cost-effective vessel management service. Included is the provision of a marine office capable of offering complete awareness and understanding of the requirements for a ‘Safe Ship’ operation. Work is performed around standard ship management agreements that clearly define those areas of ship operation for which PEM Offshore is responsible. On acceptance of a management contract PEM shall perform a full safety and technical audit of the vessel(s).
Crane and deck equipment for the offshore industry
PEM Offshore is the exclusive distributor and service provider to TRESU Marine & Offshore in all West African states. Its products include crane and deck equipment, electrical instrumentation, equipment systems, machinery parts, steel structures, hatches, safety signs, fire hose equipment, cabinets and special tools.
Advanced gas detection instruments and sensors
PEM Offshore is the distributor and service provider to RKI Instruments, which manufactures and markets a full line of gas monitoring equipment.
Fall arrest and rescue and evacuation systems
PEM Offshore is the exclusive distributor and service provider to HONOR Safety & Consultancy in all African regions. Core products include fall arrest systems, rescue and evacuation systems, high-performance clothing and HONOR’s tank clamp.
Shipping and ISO storage containers for rent or sale
PEM Offshore is a representative and an associate of Cargostore International (UK), a supplier of shipping and storage containers for rental and purchase on a worldwide basis.
The fleet of containers includes many specials, including pallet wides, side-door units, open tops, bulkers and ISO tanks. Temperature-controlled equipment includes 20ft and 40ft reefers, plus clip-on gensets.
Wastewater treatment systems
PEM Offshore is RedFox Environmental’s exclusive sole distributor and service provider in the Nigerian territory. RedFox’s wastewater treatment system meets all environmental compliance requirements for sewage treatment and can be modified for stringent requirements for BOD and TSS levels. The Marine Model is Bureau Veritas certified for IMO Resolution MEPC 159(55).
Reverse osmosis water-makers
PEM Offshore is Danfoss Sea Recovery’s exclusive distributor and service provider in West Africa, offering the Sea Series of water‐makers. Sea Recovery is the first and only reverse osmosis (RO) manufacturer to have its entire RO product lines type-accepted by the American Bureau of Shipping.
