From now on, Lewa will market the progressing cavity and screw spindle pumps of Knoll Maschinenbau, allowing the company to address even more applications. Knoll will benefit from new sales channels to penetrate into entirely new markets and expand its own international presence.
Lewa and Knoll have worked actively together since the start of 2013. The cooperation enables Knoll to strengthen and expand their business on the international level. For Lewa, the move will provide access to the field of progressing cavity pumps, where Knoll is active. Eric Rottiers, general manager Lewa partner products, sees this as strengthening both companies.
"Lewa has a leading position in the process industry and downstream as well as in the oil and gas industry where Knoll will now be able to take advantage of. The versatility of Knoll pumps will bring new applications into Lewa’s focus."
Knoll pumps are versatile and high-quality
For example, Lewa’s partner product portfolio now includes the MX progressing cavity pump, which thanks to a stator using EvenWall design, guarantees high pressure stability. A modular system allows the pump to be custom-configured. Its low-dead-space design makes it outstanding for hygienic applications in the food and luxury food industry as well as in beverages. It can also be used in cosmetics and in the soap and grease industry. Other features are its compact construction, its quick and easy service, and loss-free connecting elements.
Lewa now also offers the KTSV screw spindle pump, which was specifically designed for difficult applications and stands for high wear resistance and long service life. The pump works at low pulsation rates and low noise level. Due to its high temperature resistance and gentle conveying of the medium, it is often used in the paint and lacquer industry, for emptying barrels, and in the chemical industry.
"Knoll pumps are extremely high-quality. So this cooperation works well with the Lewa-Nikkiso partner product strategy. We will be able to offer our customers even more specific solutions for demanding requirements," says Rottiers confidently.
