DuPont Sustainable Solutions received CINDY awards for three training programs and a short film in the recent autumn 2013 International CINDY Competition.
A gold award was given to Electrical Case History, a programme that teaches valuable safety procedures from the tragic case of a worker who died of electrocution. Another gold winner was DuPont Safety Glass Performance, a short film that illustrates the applications and various safety and design-related advantages of SentryGlas® laminates.
"It is an honor to receive these Awards from CINDY," said DuPont Sustainable Solutions learning and development global business leader Samuel Ponzo. "I thank and congratulate the teams who worked on these programmes, from conceptualisation to production."
Diversity: Respect at Work, which delivers key diversity lessons through music and performance-related analogies, garnered a Silver Award, as did Workplace Violence: Looking Out for Each Other, which alerts employees to the less newsworthy yet equally damaging forms of workplace violence.
"The vehicles to deliver learning and development content have changed so much in the last few years," said DuPont Sustainable Solutions president James R Weigand. "Finding new, compelling ways to deliver high-quality content has been a challenge, and it’s rewarding to receive this kind of recognition. It lets us know that our learning and development team is on the right track."
