Advanced and cost-effective power solutions
Founded in 1932 by Ernesto Borri, the company was sold to an international competitor in 1990. The company belonged to various international groups before it was attained by a group of entrepreneurs previously employed in the Borri family company in 2005.
Since then, Borri has gone from strength to strength, going from a turnover of €14m in 2006 to more than €42m in 2013. In 2013, the company acquired the majority of shares of the company Astrid Energy Enterprises.
In addition to more than 80 years of experience, Borri is supported by a talented R&D team, which is based in its 12,000m² factory in Italy that is dedicated to UPS production and testing area. An area of 7,000m² focuses on oil and gas solutions, while the remaining 5,000m² is for ICT and industrial solutions.
