Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) and F.lli Righini Srl will work together for the design and manufacture of four Internal Lifting Tools (ILT), which will have a capacity of 3.800mT each, making them the highest performing tools on the market. The ILTs will become assets of HMC and will be used for the removal of platforms on the Sable Field (SOEP) in Nova Scotia.
This new contract continues the two companies’ cooperation since 2017, which saw the supply of four External Lifting Tools with a capacity of 2.000mT each. The ELTs were used for the successful removal of Murchison Platform (CNR International) in the North Sea.
