FoundOcean, the subsea and offshore construction cementing specialist for the global energy production industry, is expanding its operations and engineering teams at both its headquarters in Marlow, England and its service base in Livingston, Scotland.
Jim Bell, managing director of FoundOcean, said: “We have 40 years’ subsea experience in oil and gas, which has given us valuable expertise for the global renewables industry. Renewables has huge growth potential and we’re working with the market leaders to drive this in 2010. This reorganisation and expansion will mean that our clients continue to experience excellent service and satisfaction.”
Martin Hardy, technical director, takes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of FoundOcean’s service base in Livingston, while John Hudson, operations director, will focus on quality, health and safety and environment (QHSE), and takes responsibility for major projects and major accounts.
Andy Venn, business development and marketing manager, will lead the new sales and marketing team: Stephen Askey and Mike Kramer, business development managers, and Rebecca Morgan, marketing manager – all based in Marlow.
Stephen Rourke, project engineer, and Damien Murphy, engineering manager, have relocated from FoundOcean’s HQ to the service base in Livingston. Stephen Rouke will manage the expanded materials and testing laboratory, and Damien Murphy heads up the engineering team, which has also grown in the past six months.
