The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) is one of the world’s most influential gatherings for the oil and gas industry. With a focus on current trends and issues, the annual event promotes new technologies and provides an opportunity for companies to network.

Participating once again, among the 2,000 exhibitors at the 19th edition of ADIPEC, the team at Orga Offshore were on hand to showcase the very latest in aids to navigation and helideck lighting technology.

Visitors to Orga’s stand were treated to demonstrations of their very latest Digital Navaids Central Control Panel, LED Marine Lantern, LED Helideck Perimeter and Status Lights, and the world’s first Circle-H LED Helideck Lighting System and internally-illuminated windsock with smart integrated aviation obstruction light (AOL) option.

Orga helideck lighting product group manager Daniel Powell said: "We had a busy and interesting ADIPEC this year. It was a great opportunity to meet new customers and catch up with existing contacts to discuss how Orga can help them meet the requirements of the latest UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA) CAP437 standards for offshore helicopter landing areas.

"Having been awarded the first-ever CAA International (CAAi) approval certificate for our Circle-H helideck lighting system and installation methodology, our customers in the Middle East can be assured that they are buying a safe system that has been investigated to stringent CAP437 safety requirements by the advisory arm of UK CAA."

Orga Middle East business manager Roberto van Noorloos said: "We’ve had a very successful ADIPEC. Despite fluctuating oil prices, the mood in Abu Dhabi was upbeat with renewed confidence for a recovery in 2017. Given the current market conditions, operators and contractors are looking for partners that can provide flexible and cost-effective services.

"With our range of modular navigation aids and helideck lighting solutions, Orga can help drive efficiency by reducing costs while increasing productivity and safety."

Following on from a very positive ADIPEC 2016, Orga is now looking ahead to exhibiting at a number of events during 2017.
