Following a very successful 2015, Orga starts the New Year with the opening of a new international office in Dubai. The push in the Middle East comes as the acknowledged specialists in explosion-proof navigation aids and helideck lighting solutions enjoys strong sales growth and an expanding client base in the region.

Orga already has offices around the globe with a very strong presence in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Its business in the Middle East was previously run from Orga’s Malaysian office in Kuala Lumpur, however, Roberto van Noorloos, Orga business manager for the Middle East explains: "Following a significant number of large orders from the Middle East in 2015, it was an easy decision to set up an office in Dubai to provide a support and sales base for our Middle Eastern clients. Being here will enhance our service delivery in the region."

Orga has been active in this part of the world for more than 40 years, establishing strong links with many major oil and gas operators. With a branch office in Dubai, Orga will be closer to its Middle Eastern customers and van Noorloos believes that business communication, sales, support and all transactions will be more efficient, ‘enabling Orga to offer even greater value to customers’.

van Noorloos continues: "We see the Middle East as vital for Orga’s profitable growth strategy. Dubai’s strategic location makes it the ideal place to explore new business opportunities and support business development in this market. We anticipate further growth following this expansion in the region."

Orga is a world leader in the design and development of ATEX and IECEx equipment for the offshore oil and gas industry, specialising in explosion-proof aids to navigation and helideck lighting systems.

Orga’s new branch office is situated in the Dubai Airport Freezone and will be run by van Noorloos, who previously worked in Malaysia for Orga Asia-Pacific division.
