JDN Air Winches
for various applications
With immediate effect J.D. Neuhaus, the spe-cialist in air driven hoists and cranes, offers a brandnew air powered winch series for a variety of applications.
Six Winch Models are available:
– JDN Lifting Winches Profi Eco with ca-pacities of 500 kg (1100 lbs) and 800 kg (1760 lbs)
– JDN Pulling Winches Profi Puller with capacities of 1600 kg (3520 lbs) and 3000 kg (6600 lbs) as well as
– JDN Lifting Winches Profi Lifter with ca-pacities of 1000 kg (2200 lbs) and 1800 kg (3960 lbs).
The Winches of the Eco series are predestined for universal and mobile applications due to their size. The Ex-classification is: ExII 3 GD IIA T4(X).
Profi Lifter and Puller in a compact durable steel structure are for all applications with higher demands. Explosion classification for the standard models: ExII 2 GD IIA T4(X) / II 3 GD IIB T4(X), with increased spark protection: ExII 2 GD IIB T4.
The new JDN Air Winches utilize a self lubricating vane motor with integrated brake function for fewer components. This technology has been proven in our chain hoists series, and results in reduced maintenance costs, with no additional air lubricant required.
JDN wire rope winches with high rope capacity feature a compact, safe design and are easy to install and operate. They require a nominal air pressure of 4 bar (65 PSI) or 6 bar (85 PSI).
With a fully variable speed lever control at the motor or via E-Type or FI-Type pendant control the winches are easy to operate. As an added safety feature the pendant options are available with a main air emergency shut off valve.
Drum integrated exhaust air cooled planetary gear provides a minimum of maintenance at a maximum of reliability. High rope capacity at a 4-layer spooling extents the application range and the ideal ratio of rope/drum diameter (factor 21) ensures a long duty cycle of the rope. Profi Lifter and Puller are fitted with an overload pro-tection as standard.
Further options:
In addition to the control options a fully adjustable drum guard for multiple rope working angles, longer drums to accommodate max. rope capacities, pressure roller for perfect rope spooling, and offshore paint kits are further options for the Profi Puller and Lifter. The Puller series features an additional free-spooling clutch for manual rope spooling while unloaded.
