Lidan Marine, a well-established company in the marine manufacturing industry, is proud to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1909 by the smith and mechanic Carl Friman, together with the turner Carl Ottosson, the company has developed into a leading provider of services to the offshore and naval industries.
In recent years, Lidan Marine has invested heavily in acquiring control tools, CAD systems and manufacturing. In addition, it has employed more engineers and raise the competence within the company.
Lidan Marine plans to focus on broadening its services primarily within the offshore industry in the coming years and also aims to have a broader naval customer base. This will involve developing its own products and working with control and regulator technology.
