Subject: No.4 Internal Lifting Tools (ILT)
The F.lli Righini scope of work (SOW) includes design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication and testing for No. 4 Internal Lifting Tools to be operated on board of the Heerema construction and heavy lift vessels, to grab tubulars for installation and decommissioning of offshore platforms. The ILTs are hydraulically operated and modular to handle tubulars ranging from 60 inches to 96 inches.
The ILTs have been successfully tested at a vertical load of 4,400 metric tonnes (Mt), consequently certified for 4,000Mt load, and 1,000Mt transversal load.
