Following the revolution in pH measurement technology with the digital Memosens electrodes, the innovation cotiinues with the analysis transmitter Liquiline M CM42.
Safety is the Utmost Goal
Reliable measurement with simple operation – that´s what Liquiline M CM42, the new 2-wire transmitters for pH, conductivity and dissolved oxygen from Endress+Hauser, stands for.
The new Liquiline M transmitter is a clear and self-explaining interface between man and process. Numbers which are 28mm tall show the measured value on a large display. The new transmitter generation displays the information in clear text in the menus while modern operating elements care for easy control. The user goes through the menus by way of a navigator, using an easy to handle button which is pushed and turned. Important functions are selected directly over multifunction buttons – so-called soft-keys.
Initial User Opinions:
“The operation is so simple and transparent that we can practically forget about the operating instructions. The clear text display is very helpful.”
A red alarm LED which immediately shows all violations in measured value, is integrated in the display. The user log-in and the audit trail according to FDA 21 CFR 11, permit use of the transmitter in the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industry as well. In addition, all diagnostic parameters can be transmitted into the control system with the new Asset Management-Software FieldCare®, by way of FDT / DTM technology.
Savings with Modular Concept
Liquiline M CM42 is based on a modular platform. The main module, with the communication and current outputs, is also installed on a rail as are the individual measurement modules for pH, conductivity or dissolved oxygen.
“The modularity of the Liquiline M goes so far that a pH measurement transmitter can be changed into a conductivity measurement instrument – merely the exchange of the measurement module in the housing is required.”
All commodity pH sensors (glass, IsFET and Pfaudler probes) work without problems with the new measurement transmitter, as they do with 2-and 4-pole conductivity probes or inductive cells. The use of probes with Memosens technology helps in saving costs as time consuming onsite calibration is not required.
“Liquiline M is available with HART®, Foundation Fieldbus and PROFIBUS® interface. In this way, Endress+Hauser offers the flexibility in cost / performance which had not been known up to now.”
Liquiline M CM 42 is available in two housing variations, a corrosion resistant, industry-conform synthetic housing and a stainless steel housing which is designed for use in the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industry. Both housing variations can be employed as field housing as well as for installation in the control panel.
With Liquiline M and the digital pH sensor Memosens, Endress+Hauser offers the most innovative and modern pH measurement.
