New, Single Rod Limit Switch for Bulk Materials
The vibration limit switches from Endress+Hauser have taken the pole position in the past decades. The new Soliphant T FTM 20/21, demonstrates new ways for Endress+Hauser and introduces a single rod limit switch which is unique in the world.
While the SOLIPHANT range has been a synonym for reliability and ruggedness for decades now – this is also true for the new Soliphant T FTM20/21. There are many single rod sensors on the market but none can compare with the new Soliphant T. The newly developed Kipp-piezo drive ensures its unique performance. By uncoupling the process connection from the vibration, the sensor becomes insensitive to external movement, ensuring reliable measuring results. The drive has no contact with the material, making it insensitive to lateral loads and differences in temperature.
Soliphant T FTM20/21 is a low-cost sensor for limit detection in bulk materials with a granulation size of 25mm. The instrument is available as compact FTM20 and as FTM21 with pipe extension. The measuring range spans 225mm to 1,500mm and the maximum process temperature is 150°C.
Main uses for the Soliphant T are in the primaries industry measuring powdery to coarse grained bulk materials of all kinds, having a weight of 200g/l. Even lumpy or moist materials are measured reliably by Soliphant T.
