On the 14th of June 2021, Colmar has completed the acquisition of the Acoustic Calibration Pool facility, which is an indoor area of about 400m² including a pool 14m x 11m in horizontal and 8m deep. The pool, built in the ’80s by the company USEA, is one of the largest indoor testing pools in Europe and includes a 4t crane and an air-conditioned laboratory.
The pool has been equipped with new acoustic calibration equipment including National Instrument hardware and dedicated SMA software.
The facility is used for the calibration of Colmar Hydrophone but is also available for rental.
