Marine Fenders International’s engineered and manufactured our Ocean Guard Donut fenders for the New SeaLink ferry terminal located in Auckland, New Zealand.
This ferry terminal will support the upcoming 36th America’s Cup in March 2021. These Marine Fenders International Ocean Guard donut fenders consist of 14 pcs of Donut Fender, notably 12 units measuring 6.6in diameter x 11in flat length and two measuring 9in-diameter x 5.5in flat length. The 9in-diameter fender was outfitted with external netting of reinforced plastic lumber and heavy-duty chains. This netting is designed to absorb and transmit the heavy impacts of the berthing ferry.
Additionally, each of these Ocean Guard donut fenders is equipped with independent mooring crown which provides all-tide mooring capabilities.
