Global marine engineering specialist Trelleborg Offshore is pleased to announce that Ralph Wu has been appointed as the company’s new sales manager for the China region.
He is expected to focus on building local relationships with customers within the oil and gas, renewables, mining and heavy construction markets as part of the role.
Ralph’s education is in mechanical engineering and automation and he specialises in project management.
For the last nine years, he has worked for an offshore equipment company responsible for product market positioning, new product development and key technology breakthroughs.
Based out of Trelleborg’s Qingdao facility and working as part of Trelleborg’s China-based sales team, Ralph will be focused on obtaining new opportunities for the product and material technologies of Trelleborg’s offshore operation.
Ralph states: “I look forward to bringing my expertise and knowledge to Trelleborg to helping develop opportunities and provide local support for our customers in the region.
“I believe my engineering and product development background bring intrinsic value to the role, enabling me to start this new opportunity with success in mind.”
