A Korean car manufacturer, based in Chihuahua, Mexico, has recently installed the latest Spectrex commercial IR3 20/20MPI Flame Detector.
The manufacturer chose to install the commercial detectors during the construction process to provide superior flame detection.
Once the facility is finished, some of the commercial 20/20MPI detectors will be replaced with explosion-proof 40/40I detectors in classified areas.
The 20/20MPI is a low-cost, high-performance, compact Triple IR (IR3) Flame Detector in lightweight polycarbonate housing. It retains all the benefits of IR3 technology, long-distance detection (up to 140ft / 43m) along with the highest immunity to false alarms.
