The Indian Space Agency has chosen to select Spectrex SharpEye flame detectors to provide flame detection within their facilities.
The popular 40/40LB UV/IR detector with Built-In-Test is now in place protecting key areas within the Indian Space Agency facilities.
The 40/40LB provides a combination of UV and IR sensors, where the IR sensor operates at a wavelength of 2.5μm-3.0μm, and can detect hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, hydroxyl and hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires.
