Dr. Kristen Opstad and MSc Petter Aune have joined ComputIT. They are both specialists in fire development and fire mitigation, and have long and broad experience from fire research.
ComputIT is pleased to announce the engagements of Dr. Kristen Opstad and MSc Petter Aune.
Dr. Opstad has 20 years’ experience in fire research at SINTEF NBL (Norwegian Fire Research Laboratory) on the material reaction to fire, fire development and mitigation, especially focusing on fire safety in the process industry, fire protection of underground spaces, traffic tunnels, rail and road. He is a recognised expert in this field. Dr. Opstad was chief engineer at Petrell, working on multiphysics simulations for the oil and gas process industry, before joining ComputIT in October 2010.
MSc Petter Aune has 16 years’ experience in fire research at SINTEF NBL with a focus on experimental and CFD studies of the material reaction to fire, fire development and mitigation. He is a recognised expert in this field and was chief engineer at Petrell, working on multiphysics simulations for the oil and gas process industry, before joining ComputIT in September 2010.
