The National Oil Spill Response Research & Renewable Energy Test Facility will exhibit and present a poster at the International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC), to be held at Portland Convention Center, Portland, OR, on May 23-26, 2011.
The IOSC conference and exhibition contributes to and enables a culture of preparedness within the oil spill response community and the broader field of incident management. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, and see first-hand the latest capabilities of leading suppliers of services and technologies.
Ohmsett senior test engineer, Dave DeVitis, will participate in the poster session to present “Use of the Newly Developed ASTM Standard F 2709 (Standard Test Method for Determining Nameplate Recovery Rate of Stationary Oil Skimmer Systems)”. Learn about the process of testing to the newly adopted ASTM skimmer test protocol.
