The Subsea Company offers subsea solutions with a focus on marine riser components and subsea controls. The company’s aim is to provide the offshore industry with innovative, user-friendly and reliable subsea equipment.
BOP drifts for minimizing downtime
By drifting blow-out preventers (BOP), contractors, oil companies and OEMs make significant revenue savings.
The Subsea Company’s API Drift helps to minimize your downtime. Drifting your BOP during rig acceptance, factory acceptance testing and after BOP repairs can save you money.
Advantages of the API Drift include:
- Rugged and durable
- 16 API solutions
- Pull tested and certified
- Convenient storage containers
Subsea pressure gauges
The Subsea Company’s subsea pressure gauges are all individually calibrated, hydrostatically tested and certified for deep-water operation. Along with the advanced bourdon tube design, flexible Zytel case and internal breathing diaphragm, this provides unequaled reliability and depth compensation for all subsea gauge requirements.
Benefits of these subsea pressure gauges include:
- Certified and tested at subsea depths
- Corrosion and chemical-resistant
- Pressure compensated
- Panel or fitting-mounted
- Three dial sizes (2.5in, 3.5in and 4.5in)
- Rugged Zytel case
Lubricants for harsh conditions
Subsea lubricants are designed to withstand wear, corrosion and galling issues in tough offshore and underwater conditions. Their unsurpassed performance saves you time and money. The Subsea Company’s lubricants are specially designed to combat corrosion, extreme pressure and heavy loads.
Key features of subsea lubricants include:
- Special formulations
- Superior anti-seize and corrosion control
- Extreme pressure performance
- Eco-friendly
- Seals and protects
- Convenient packaging
Subsea RB is a riser bolt anti-seize lubricant containing 70% molybdenum disulfide for uniform lubrication and easy make-up and break-out of threaded connections. Subsea RB is primarily used on drilling rigs and offshore installations for maximum protection against oxidation.
Subsea SS is a stainless anti-seize lubricant containing 45% lubricating solids for a strong adhesion to all metal surfaces. Subsea SS is ideal for subsea applications and any application where washout is a concern.
Subsea SN is a stainless anti-seize NPT lubricant designed to prevent galling on NPT stainless steel threaded connections. Capable of sealing to 20,000psi, the high concentration of PTFE eliminates the need for Teflon tape.
Subsea SO is a stainless anti-seize O-ring lubricant, formulated with elastomer compatibility in mind. Subsea SO is insoluble and has a high dielectric strength for applications where electric conductivity is a concern.
Marine riser components
When operating marine drilling risers, an extensive amount of engineering analysis is required to ensure a safe and reliable project.
The Subsea Company designs and manufactures riser components, riser clamps, thrust collars, MUX clamps and storage racks.
Standard MUX clamp
The MUX clamp is designed to clamp cables and hoses in place during drilling operations. The Subsea Company’s standard MUX clamp can be mounted in a variety of ways to suit customer requirements.
Features and benefits of the MUX clamp include:
- Fast delivery
- 2,000lb bi-directional grip pull test
- Variable length extension arm sizes up to 9.75in from the edge of the pipe
- Light composite weight
- Optional storage rack
- 316 stainless-steel base and extension
- Dual pull rings for quick mounting
- Optional riser clamp mounting adapter
- Custom designs available
- Fits pipe sizes ranging from 5in to 7in
Hot stabs for offshore operations
Subsea ROV hot stabs are designed, manufactured and engineered according to API 17H standards.
Advantages of the ROV hot stabs include:
- Main body constructed using Nitronic 60
- Handles and fasteners fabricated from 316 stainless-steel
- Rated to 10,000psi working pressure
- High-flow version available
- Single and dual port configurations
Signature tester for surface equipment
The Subsea Company’s hydraulic data logger is designed to improve equipment reliability. The data logger assists personnel in carrying out performance-based testing. Signature testing is a proven method for identifying anomalies and reducing instances of costly failures.
The data logger is ideal for testing BOPs following repairs and maintenance, factory acceptance and on-hire testing of critical equipment, and testing of hydraulic equipment, including surface equipment.
Benefits of the hydraulic data logger include:
- Lightweight and portable
- Eight channels
- 0K-10K pressure range
- Detection of erratic operation and avoidance of age-related failures
- Reduction in maintenance expenses
- Reduction in rig downtime
- Ethernet port for communication with external laptop
