Idox is pleased to announce that Deep Sea Development Services (DSDS) has selected FusionLive as its document management solution of choice to make its document searching, sharing, and collaboration more efficient for new and upcoming projects.

DSDS, a Houston-based consulting firm with a focus on subsea and deepwater development projects, had been looking to improve how documents were handled and managed across its projects. Due to struggles with document access and sharing, an efficient way of searching and saving documents was required to make the process easier for staff, clients, and external vendors. With a new project underway, a solution needed to be deployed urgently to ensure project timescales were kept on track and customers’ requirements could be met.

DSDS was already familiar with Idox and FusionLive, having experienced the solution during a project with another customer and user of FusionLive; after being impressed by the demos and using the system, DSDS connected with Idox to get set up with FusionLive for its own projects. In just four short weeks, Idox rapidly set up FusionLive for DSDS to use with its new projects and future ones.

FusionLive has made an impact on DSDS by:

  1. Enacting a speedy implementation: Idox’s standard deployment method ensured a rapid set-up, even during the busy holiday season.
  2. Streamlining the document management process by making everything searchable from one single location.
  3. Providing secure accessibility of documents to both internal staff and external vendors.

DSDS is currently using FusionLive in a new project that is expected to grow up to 10,000 documents over its course. It also plans to use FusionLive across other critical projects in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates on the rollout of FusionLive at Deep Sea Development Services and the subsequent impact and benefits of the solution.
