Founded in 1966, Welding Alloys began its operations in an old farm building near Cambridge in the UK. Today, the Welding Alloys Group offers the world’s largest range of flux and metal-cored welding wires for low, medium and high-alloyed hardfacing and cladding applications and mild steel fabrication. It offers this together with a range of stainless steel, nickel, cobalt-based and aluminium welding wires, manual metal arc (MMA) covered electrodes and TIG rods.
Welding Alloys has designed and produced a range of modular welding equipment in support of key industries. The range includes semi-automatic wire feeders, portable automated machines and fully automatic systems including component manipulators with the latest in advanced-control technology.
At Schweissen & Schneiden 2013, Welding Alloys will be presenting and demonstrating a selection of the latest innovations in both welding consumables and automated welding equipment.
On show, in the field of welding consumables, will be the latest cored wires for the refurbishment of high-performance tools and dies, flux-cored wires designed for a range of cryogenic applications and metal cored wires for use in the hydro-power generation industry. There will also be stainless steels for a variety of high-temperature applications in the power generation and petrochemical industry and a new automated solution for the welding of P91 materials.
From the Welding Alloys equipment division, visitors to the Welding Alloys stand will be able to see and experience the advanced features of WA D3-Touch™, the very latest in advance control technology. There will also be automated track repair equipment for the refurbishment of worn or damaged tram tracks.
