Cladtek successfully completed the final shipment for the Ndungu Field Development Project, contracted by Azule Energy Angola S.p.A., delivering over 41km of Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Mechanically Lined Pipes (MLP), in addition to weld overlay pipes, hot induction bends, and pup pieces. The total of 41 km of pipes has been shipped to Brazil, with the last batch departing Batam in September of last year, following two successful deliveries in August. All products were manufactured at Cladtek’s facility in Batam, Indonesia.
The Ndungu Field, located in the West Hub Block of Angola, is a key offshore oil development project situated approximately 10km from the N’Goma FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) unit, at a water depth of around 1,100m. This area presents challenging subsea and resource conditions, where Cladtek’s advanced CRA products provide critical corrosion protection and longevity.
