Jotron has developed a new range of SOLAS-approved survival lights. These are lights within the categories of life jacket lights, life buoy lights and life boat lights. Common features, besides being SOLAS-approved, are the fact that they have high-intensity LED, and are sealed, small and compact.
Life jacket lights
The Tron SL-100 will become the smallest life jacket light on the market with LED-technology, meeting 1Cd light-intensity. Due to the high-intensity, the new Tron SL-100 will meet aviation applications. Activation will be ‘auto / on’.
The Tron SL-101 will be identical to the Tron SL-100 in size, but has external sea-water contacts and an activation ‘off / auto’. The external seawater contacts are designed to meet applications like survival suits and other special features.
Life buoy lights
The Tron SL-300 is a specially designed, small and compact life buoy light. It has an optimised installation feature for both wall and rail mounting. The especially designed bracket has been coated with vibration and shock-absorbing rubber, giving the life buoy light safety protection when installed.
Life boat lights
The Tron SL-400 life boat light has been designed with a high-intensity LED with the same mechanical mounting features as the existing Tron 1127.
