Jotron has signed a framework agreement with Statoil, the leading operator on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Jotron is well-embedded within the Norwegian oil and gas sector and an international supplier of PAGA and internal communication systems for the maritime and energy market. Jotron has supplied communication systems to Statoil for many years.
The signed framework agreement includes delivery of Jotron services and support to existing Statoil platforms, including the Aasta Hansteen, Gina Krog and Mariner projects. The frame agreement is valid throughout the next five years. The contract also includes optional extensions on a five by three-year basis.
Jotron maritime and energy division director Tor Martin Røed said: "This support agreement secures Statoil with an efficient and cost-effective solution."
