EMO Marine Technologies has successfully developed and delivered the world’s smallest underwater microscope for 4Deep Inwater Imaging, of Halifax NS.
EMO Marine was approached by 4Deep with a list of requirements to redesign the current product. 4Deep’s two primary objectives were to reduce the size of the and remove an external cable that connects the two sub-assemblies.
EMO Marine’s and 4Deep’s redesign needed to meet the specific criteria required for a precise optical instrument. The challenge to meet the specifications while remaining rugged for subsea deployment was a success and resulted in the world’s smallest underwater microscope.
