Plastic energy chains, bearings and highly flexible cables supplier igus has announced that the fourth vector® award for inspiring applications with E-Chains® and E-ChainSystems® with cables is accepting applications until 15 February.
The vector award is an joint initiative between igus, the industrial media, and engineering associations. Novel applications are wanted for the awards, which aims to recognise novel energy supply applications which have been realised with energy chains
and cables.
Whether a prototype or a production application is big, small, complex or simple, taking part is very easy.

Simply submit your application. The jury will select the technically most novel and creative solution; first prize is €5,000!
- First prize: €5,000 and the gold vector statue
- Second prize: €2,500 and the silver vector statue
- Third prize: €1,000 and the bronze vector statue
