A Houston-based subsea tooling manufacturer has expanded into Aberdeen as part of its growth strategy after seeing rising demand for its products and solutions out with the US.
Seanic Ocean Systems designs and manufactures products and solutions for ROVs to interface with subsea hardware and is part of the Centurion Group.
In support of its expansion the firm has appointed Greg Maclachlan as business development manager for UK, Europe and Africa.
Greg brings 12 years’ experience in sales, customer service and business development to this new role. Within previous roles in the oil and gas industry, Greg has worked with prominent operators and service companies delivering specialist engineering and rental solutions for onshore and offshore applications.
He will be based in shared facilities with RentAir Offshore (also a Centurion Group company) in Dyce, Aberdeen and is responsible for the growth of revenue and new business for Seanic in the UK North Sea, Norway, Europe and Africa.
