Specialist Services Group recently announced they have established a new group company in Delhi NCR, India. The new company, Specialist Engineering Services Private was formally inaugurated on 20 September 2016. The company’s managing director, Manoj Kumar, Specialist Services CEO, Ian Rogers, and new company’s employees attended the inauguration ceremony.
The company will be providing engineering services to the UAE as an addition to Specialist Services’ existing engineering capability. The office is located in Gurgaon (Delhi NCR) and at the moment there are four employees, all engineering professionals.
"Specialist Engineering Services’ team is going to operate as an integral part of our UAE based engineering function and I believe that the new company will eventually emerge as the group’s Engineering Centre of Excellence," said Manoj.
In current market conditions customers are hugely price conscious, and this situation is expected to continue for some time. In order to maintain their competitive advantage, Specialist Services has to maximise efficiency in every aspect of their client proposition.
At the same time, they are seeing an increased demand for one-off, highly engineered solutions, where engineering is going to play a central role. These factors necessitated a strategic response, which resulted in the decision to set up the new company to enable Specialist Services to continue to deliver high quality engineering services at optimum efficiency.
Manoj continued: "The main objective behind setting up Specialist Engineering Services is to enhance the Group’s engineering capability while keeping the cost rational and Specialist Services Group has taken a pragmatic and systematic approach. We have setup the best possible IT and telecom infrastructure to connect India office with UAE offices. This will facilitate free communication at all levels, which is crucial for the success of such model."
