Following the recent restructuring of Hertel’s operations in the Middle East, the company has made a number of senior appointments in the region.

The restructuring saw the creation of two sub-regions with offices in Abu Dhabi to cover UAE, Qatar and Oman and offices in Damman serving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Jan Bruggenthijs will take up the role, on an interim basis, as director for the Middle East taking over from John Potts who is returning to the UK.

Jan has held a number of senior management roles including at Stork Industrial Services and Fabricom. He will report to Hertel Holding board member Kees de Korver who has responsibility for the region.

David Nickerson becomes regional director for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Previously David worked as managing director of BIS Salamis as well as holding senior positions in Cape and Bains Harding.

Lee McLean Marshall takes up the position as regional director for UAE, Qatar and Oman, which expands his role having had responsibility for Hertel in Qatar. Lee has previously worked for Hertel in the UK and for Watson Norrie.
