Apply Leirvik is a leading supplier of accommodation and utility modules for offshore platforms, and is the living quarters and assembly subsidiary of Apply, a service and technology provider for the oil and gas industry.
Located on the south-west coast of Norway, the company operates two state-of-the-art production sites with a total size of 150,000m², capable of building and loading-out constructions of over 5,000t. The facility is perfectly placed for delivery to the North Sea and the rest of the world.
Steel and aluminium structures for offshore installations
Aluminium is a secure and strong material, used to fabricate Apply Leirvik’s accommodation modules, helidecks lightweight structures and other offshore installations. The lightweight metal requires no surface treatment and minimum maintenance, resulting in fewer operational costs.
Apply Leirvik can design and manufacture steel structures for platforms that don’t require low-weight material and have shorter design life expectancy.
Water-treatment and process-related topside modules
Apply Leirvik can offer services for all stages of construction of topside modules, from engineering to final documentation. Construction of modules such as water-treatment units and process-related components can be undertaken as a subcontractor for a main contractor.
Customised installations for offshore platforms
Apply Leirvik can work to specific client specifications, tailored to aspects such as comfort, price, climate and weather considerations, installation lifetime and other modifications such as technical requirements.
Safety is paramount, and all construction is operated in compliance with NS ISO 9001 quality management system. Apply Leirvik is a certified and qualified supplier to the oil industry through the ACHILLES database qualification arrangement.
Global expansion in the offshore market
Apply Leirvik is expanding its operations in Asia, with recent acquisitions providing access to fabrication capabilities in China. This expansion will supplement the company’s plans to increase its market share in the offshore accommodation sector both at home and internationally, and help it emerge as a supplier of turnkey solutions and complete services provider.
