Within Asia, India has 12 planned and announced Ammonia capacity, with a total capacity of about 6.97Mtpa by 2026. The country is expected to spend a capital expenditure (CAPEX) of $ 2.75bn. The majority of capacity additions are from Reliance Industries Jamnagar Ammonia Plant, with a capacity of 1.50Mtpa. It is expected to commence production of Ammonia in 2025.

The Middle East has 18 planned and announced projects, Major capacity additions will be from Maaden Waad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company Ras Al Khair Ammonia Plant 2. The CAPEX for the plant is $0.21bn by 2026.                      


Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant, Reliance Industries Ltd and Perdaman Industries Pty Ltd will be the top three companies globally in terms of planned and announced capacity additions over the upcoming years.
