Port protection works
Zeta performs backfilling works outside port defences, such as dams and quays attached to the ground, to protect internal port basins from sea motion, using two different types of construction:
- Cast or with rocks: in natural rock or artificial blocks
- Vertical wall: with cellular reinforced concrete caissons or overlapping blocks
Coastline protection works
Zeta undertakes coastline protection works to protect the coast against erosion due to the waves, typically in the form of a reef with rocks of various sizes, such as:
- Channels
- Emerging and segmented flow breaks
- Underwater barriers
