IFS has been selected by Trans-Northern Pipelines (TNP) to deploy its applications across its portfolio of operations spread across Canada.
The IFS applications will serve as TNP’s enterprise asset management (EAM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
TNP operates two pipelines; one in southern Ontario and western Quebec, and one between Edmonton and Calgary, delivering refined petroleum products.
IFS financials, IFS maintenance, IFS document management, IFS project management, IFS human resources, IFS time and attendance management and IFS business intelligence are the modules which will be implemented to integrate preventative maintenance records, asset data, equipment histories, and other pipeline data critical for management of TNP and sister company Alberta Products Pipe Line assets.
This exercise will offer TNP will the ability to maximise productivity of assets, ensure safe pipeline operation and enable effective work and maintenance execution management.
TNP’s extensive set of linear pipeline assets will now be managed with the new IFS management systems aided by EAM functionality, provided by its partner ESRI.
