In its first quarter (Q1) 2024 results, Eni announced it would increase its planned share buyback by 45% to €1.6bn ($1.71bn) and reported a net profit of €1.58bn in Q1 2024.
However, the deal excludes Eni’s East Irish Sea assets and carbon capture and storage activities.
Earlier this year, Texas LNG and EQT signed an initial agreement for 500,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of tolling capacity.
The company will supply 17 pipeline centrifugal compressors powered by aeroderivative gas turbines.
