An Iranian state-owned petrochemical company operated out of an office near Buckingham Palace.
During the pilot, Svante Technologies' carbon capture technology will be integrated into the refinery's fluidised catalytic cracking unit (FCCU).
The investment will be directed towards oil and gas exploration, refineries, petrochemicals and pipeline infrastructure.
The plan was presented by Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi during a meeting with Indonesia's President Joko Widodo.
The decade-long contract will see the supply of up to 11 million barrels of condensates annually.
Data shows imports from Russia declined by 4.2% to 1.3 million barrels per day in January.
The decline was attributed primarily to lower upstream realisations, losses from decommissioning obligations and higher impairment charges.
Campaigners have criticised the UK Government for awarding the company, which is owned by a major political donor, a new drilling licence despite a major fine in 2022.
