Total has renewed its contract with CGG for the operation of the Dedicated Processing Center (DPC) in Pau, France.
It awarded the contract to CGG’s geoscience division.

According to CGG, the renewed contract is valid for five years.
Since 2006, Total and CGG have been working in close cooperation at the Pau DPC.
This long-term collaboration enables CGG to deliver its technologies and customised workflows globally. The DPC offers four-dimensional (4D) processing.

In November, CGG announced a programme to deliver the largest ever ocean bottom node (OBN) multi-client survey, which it will carry out in the UK Central North Sea (CNS).
In June 2017, PTT Exploration & Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) renewed CGG’s contract for operating the DPC in Bangkok. CGG will operate the DPC until the end of February 2020.
