Technip Energies and Shell Catalysts & Technologies have reached a global exclusivity agreement to deliver amine-based post-combustion carbon capture using Shell’s CANSOLV CO₂ Capture System.

Working since 2012, the alliance of the two companies has evolved to meet the market requirements and make “carbon capture accessible for industry”.

In June this year, US-based oil and gas industry services provider SLB and Aker Carbon Capture finalised the establishment of their carbon capture joint venture.
