A consortium that includes Stork, a Fluor company, has secured a five year pipeline maintenance contract in Peru.

The contract was awarded by Compañía Operadora de Gas (COGA) to the consortium called Consorcio Mantenimiento de Gasoductos del Peru (CMgP). The consortium comprises Stork Peru and SICIM.

As agreed, Stork will deliver integral pipeline maintenance services to the COGA operated Sistema De Transporte De Gas Natural y Líquidos de Gas Natural de Camisea.

CMgP will be responsible for geotechnical, construction and maintenance services for more than 1,500km of pipelines, as well as associated equipment and processing plants.

These pipelines connect Camisea gas project to the Peruvian coast line.

The initial works have already commenced, with project execution expected to commence in the first quarter of next year. Completion is scheduled for mid-2026.
