Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services (EPS) business has secured a five-year extension of its duty holder support services contract for Oranje-Nassau Energie Resources’ (ONE) Sean field asset in the Southern North Sea (SNS).
The scope of works under the extension, valued at $20m over the term, includes operations and maintenance, engineering, training, and asset management support for the Sean asset.
Petrofac EPS West senior vice-president Dave Blackburn said: “We’re delighted that ONE has demonstrated continued confidence in our ability to create notable added value for them through the provision of effective integrated support services. The renewal of this important contract is a testament to our teams’ competence and experience in the SNS.
“We look forward to continuing our focus on a safe and efficient delivery for our client as we work to extend the field life of Sean, maximise operational efficiency, and reduce operating expenditure.”
In 2014, ONE entered the UK continental shelf (UKCS) by acquiring a 50% stake in the Sean field.
Petrofac has been associated with the asset under the duty holder support services contract since 2015.
