Earlier in the month, Oceaneering’s Integrity Management and Digital Solutions segment secured a contract to devise a maintenance strategy for a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel destined for offshore Brazil.
Managed from Rio de Janeiro, the project focuses on optimising the vessel’s performance and reliability for smooth operations over a two-year period.
The scope encompasses the development of an asset management philosophy and a spare part strategy.
In September 2023, Oceaneering International’s Offshore Projects Group segment secured contracts exceeding $100m for offshore projects.
One of the projects was the Girassol Life Extension in Angola, where Oceaneering, as part of a consortium, was tasked with the recovery and replacement of 12 risers.
The company will also provide Angolan personnel and manage the consortium’s in-country operations.
Additionally, Oceaneering was selected for a jumper installation project in the Stabroek block, offshore Guyana, where it was tasked with overseeing the installation of jumpers and other subsea field development activities.
