Zamil Offshore Services has formed a strategic partnership with Acteon company UTEC to carry out offshore survey projects in Saudi Arabia.
The partnership will leverage on the global survey experience of UTEC and Zamil Offshore’s expertise in marine and offshore operations.
UTEC CEO Stuart Cameron said: “We’ve experienced rapid growth since moving into the region last year and with our new office in Abu Dhabi we are set-up to increase support to our clients’ survey requirements.
“We have seen an increase in potential work opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and we expect this to continue going forward.”
Since March, UTEC has been involved in providing positioning equipment and construction support for pipelay and jacket installation operations in Saudi Arabia.
The company also operates an office in Abu Dhabi in the UAE to support its growing operations in the Middle East region.
