TechnipFMC has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract for Statoil’s Peregrino Phase II Project in Campos Basin, offshore Brazil.
The contract includes subsea pipeline connection for the new production platform, which will be connected by the in-field lines to the existing platform.
Under the contract, TechnipFMC will carry out engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, installation and pre-commissioning of the rigid pipelines, flexible lines and the necessary subsea equipment.
The company will use local capabilities and an international pipelay fleet for the offshore campaign slated to start in 2019.
TechnipFMC Subsea Projects president Hallvard Hasselknippe said: “This reinforces the long-standing relationship between Statoil and TechnipFMC, which we will continue to strengthen through future Brazilian projects.”
Recently, the company won an EPCI contract for Hurricane Lancaster Early Production System (EPS) Project West of Shetland.
