Technip and FMC Technologies have been selected to provide subsea solutions for Hurricane Energy’s Lancaster Early Production System (EPS) and also develop the Greater Lancaster Area in the UK.

Under the alliance, the companies have developed a new approach with Hurricane to improve the economics of the proposed development.

As part of the contract, the companies’ focus will be on system design optimisation and risk reduction while executing the project.

Technip and FMC are currently undertaking front-end engineering studies to meet Hurricane’s stated sanction date of the end of first half of next year.
