UK-based Sparrows Group and SapuraKencana Technology have formed a partnership to supply offshore and onshore crane services in Malaysia, which will allow Sparrows to expand its presence in the Asian Pacific market.
Through the partnership, the companies will provide manufacturing, supply, operations, maintenance and overhaul of offshore and onshore cranes for the Malaysian oil and gas industry.
Sparrows Group CEO Stewart Mitchell said: “SapuraKencana Petroleum is a prominent and well respected company and this partnership is right in many regards for us.

SapuraKencana Technology is a subsidiary of oil and gas services provider SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad.
