Jacobs Engineering Group has signed a master services agreement (MSA) expansion amendment to provide construction management (CM) services at Chevron Products Company’s refineries and terminals in the US.

Under the MSA, Jacobs will provide services as required at the refineries in El Segundo and Richmond, California, Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Salt Lake City.

Through the MSA amendment, Jacobs, which currently provides engineering and procurement (EP) services to Chevron, will provide integrated project delivery (IPD) solutions at these locations.

Jacobs Global Field Services senior vice-president and general manager Valerie Roberts said: “As an experienced integrated project delivery (IDP) provider of innovative end-to-end solutions, we will support Chevron’s facility and business objectives while delivering engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services at the company’s US refineries and terminals.”

As a project delivery mechanism, IPD integrates people, systems, business structures into a unified process.

"Under the MSA, Jacobs will provide services as required at the refineries in El Segundo and Richmond, California, Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Salt Lake City."

It is expected to return optimal project results, enhance value to facility owners, cut down redundancies and time spent in the field, in addition to offering operational efficiencies across all phases of the project.
